        Invoking the blessing of God Almighty, I have great pleasure in presenting the Annual Report of Sri Ram Vidhya Mandir Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Perumalpattu for the academic year 2002 - 2003

        Our School, "Sriram Vidhya Mandir Matric Higher Secondary School" was started at the beginning of the academic year 2002 - 2003 by the renowned SriRam Educational Trust, Chennai. This School was started with a dream to make it a unique institution not only in and around the major village Perumalpattu in which it is located, but also in the whole area in Tiruvallur and the adjoining Districts. It is certain that the dream shall come true soon. The seed is sown and the growth is very fast due to the immense dedication of our Chairman, the hard work of the teachers and the staunch support of the parents.

        The inauguration of the school held on Saturday 15th, June 2002. Thiru. V.K.Subbu Raj, I.A.S., Secretary to Government, School Education Department, inaugurated the school.

        The thirst of knowledge is always cherished and nourished in all institutions. But our school differs from institutions by providing a better scope for the students for Self - development and to become self - oriented.

        The Pillars of strength of the school are our sincere, honest and hard working Chairman, the staff and the parents.

        The aim of our school is to impart from the early stage, value based quality education to children in most modern methods to mould them into responsible future citizens.

        All round personality development in children is the key - note of our educational system. We follow activity based curriculum for primary classes.

        The everlasting radiant light of God Almighty Perpectually stands to favour and bless the steady growth of our school. By the grace of God our School has grown with a strength of 294 students from Std. I to IX in this academic year. Our school has been recognized by the Govt. of Tamilnadu vide Proceeding K. Dis. No. 1152/E1/2002 dated 30.10.2002 of the Director of Matriculation Schools Chennai - 600 006. Std X will be started from June 2003.
