The department was founded in the year 1993 and has been contributing to the development of the college as a whole. The department is endowed with a very dynamic and well qualified faculty.With both eminent Faculty members and well-equipped laboratories, our students are doing well in their academics and they have secured many University ranks.
The Department has well-established laboratories with latest and sophisticated equipments in all the laboratories. The Department has Communication System Lab, Digital System Lab, RF Lab, Digital Signal Processing Lab, Embedded System Lab, VLSI Lab, Microwave & Optical Communication Lab, Electronic System Design Lab, Electronic Devices & Circuits Lab, Microprocessor, Microcontroller & Interfacing Lab.
The Association of Electronics & Communication Engineers (AECE) was started in the academic year 2002-2003.The association conducted National Level Technical Symposium
ATTUNE-02, ATTUNE-04 and ATTUNE-05 inviting papers from colleges in India.
Since then, the association has been very keen in carrying out several co-curricular & extra-curricular activities in order to develop additional talents in the students.
The Department of ECE has signed MOUs with Mindstorm, VI Microsytems and SANDS Instrumentation.
