The Department of Mechanical Engineering was started in the year 1993 to inculcate the knowledge of Mechanical students. The department is gifted with a dedicated team of experienced faculty members and a well equipped laboratory.The department is proud of producing consistently very good results in the University examinations. The department has also guided a lot of students for placements, higher studies and outstanding project developments and other extra curricular activities inside and outside the campus. The department has produced gold medalist and the department has highly qualified faculty members and well equipped laboratories with updated technologies. The department is accredited by NBA and certified by ISO. All other faculty members are post graduate and five of them are working on research thesis for doctoral programmes
